"This was one of my best dining experiences ever. The food was amazing and service was just as good. The chef greeted us at the door and served us glasses of prosecco along with a sampling of each of their appetizers. Our main courses were delicious and unlike anything we've had before. It was my first time having Moroccan food and it was out of this world. If I end up back in Florence I will certainly be dining here again."

"You HAVE to go to Cherlot!!! It’s in the most lovely position on a high bank above the water, on the outskirts of Florence but easily reachable also by bike - which is how we came. You’ll love everything, every detail in the decor and every crumb off your plate. Our server was professional and charismatic. The chef was the absolute top; the food was beyond perfect - beautiful presentation, generous portions, exciting and delicious flavors!! Put simply, this is the Moroccan experience in Florence (Fiesole) that you don’t want to miss."

"Cherlot is great, a hidden gem, tucked in a little mountain town just twenty to thirty minutes biking from the center of Florence. All of the food was delicious, and the service was great! I highly recommend getting the Antipasti Cherlot--mixed samples of starters for only €10, and it definitely gives you the opportunity to try a lot of different flavors.Check it out if you're up here, or on your way to or from Fiesole! P.S. I swear the food looks better in person, my phone just doesn't do well in low-light settings"

"Really great meal at Cherlot! We were brought there by some friends who happen to be regulars and we couldn’t believe how great a little gem it was. The antipasti comprises a selection of 7 little dips with flatbreads and stuffed fillo pastry with harissa. All excellent! And with the mains, you will find all the classic from tajine to couscous. B’astilla, a dish ordered by our friends, consisted of crumbed dip fried fish fillo pastry. The textures and flavours were outstanding! These people are very hospitable which explains why it’s very popular around the area."
